Deep Thoughts
VitaNovis is a journey. It is a journey into understanding who God is, who we are in relationship to Him and how we should relate to one another. The journey begins with an exploration into what God has revealed to us about Himself through the living word—Jesus—and the spoken word—the Bible.
Deeper Thoughts
I used to be concerned about what I was going to do with my life, but now I understand that 'what' is the wrong question to ask. The average person in college today will switch jobs 11 times! 'What' will constantly change. The more important question for me is 'who.' Who will I be over the throughout my life? Of course, 'who' will change also, but it will always be with me. I take 'who' from job to job, place to place, relationship to relationship. If I ever want ot be happy in life with 'what,' I first need to answer 'who.'

Think of life like a road-trip for a minute... Of course, the destination is important, but so is the road between here/now and there/then. What kind of car are you in? Is it designed to swerve through heavy traffic, built for long stretches of open road, or is it a 4x4 begging for dirt rather than pavement? What do you want to experience along the way: mountainous views, steel jungles, or ghost towns on the prairies? No matter where you go, there will be potholes. No matter when you go, there will be road construction (especially on College Ave!) And between here/now, and there/then, woudn't it be nice to see a map and have a plan?

A wise man once said, "if you aim at nothing, you'll hit it every time." Where are you aiming in life? Even with a plan, there'll be surprises-flat tires and wrong turns WILL happen-but without a plan, those surprises can ruin the experience of the trip.
